Hello, my name is Iylona Hardy and after serving 20.5 years in the NYC Department of Correction, I decided to retire and relocate to a more relaxing environment which moves at a slower pace. I had a few goals in mind as I packed up my life to follow my dreams. One of them was to pursue a second career in real estate, coming from law enforcement I was positive that I was already equipped with the most valuable of tools and that is the ability to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life and personalities. My last 10 years in the department I took on the responsibility of being The Equal Employment Opportunity Counselor for the Transportation Division, with Federal, State, City and Department based training I learned the importance of people needing to be treated fairly on and off the job. My training gave me insight on all types of discriminatory practices from the workplace, housing, and education, just to name a few. I am passionate about wanting all people to be treated fairly no matter their national origin, ethnicity, religion, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, physical/mental disabilities, or familial status. I want all people to be aware of what they can have in this world and how to go about obtaining it. As a licensed real estate agent, I have recently joined Hope Realty in Lewes, Delaware. A respected team of professionals that share my vision of affording equal opportunities in the housing market. Licensed in Delaware, Maryland, and Georgia with 22 years of combined experience in the purchase and sales of residential, commercial, and manufactured mobile home properties as well as specializing in foreclosures, short sales, and rentals we are a winning team. Whether you are selling or buying your 1st or 5th home, I’m here to help. I am all about building strong, professional, and courteous relationships with my clients, therefore I will utilize the tools at my disposal to provide you with most pleasant and stress-free experience.
